THE GLASS ALCHEMIST

As The Glass Alchemist, I transform sheets of glass into small pieces of light and magic. Working from my home studio in Raleigh, North Carolina, I design and handcraft stained glass sun catchers inspired by the worlds I love—fantasy, nature, and bits of pop culture.

 

Each piece begins as an idea and is carefully cut, foiled, and soldered by hand using traditional stained glass techniques. I like to think of the process as a bit of modern alchemy: turning simple materials into something that catches the sun and fills a room with color.

 

My goal is to create pieces that feel a little whimsical and a little magical—

art that brings a spark of wonder to everyday spaces.
